Hi, I got totally new Nano boards from AZ-Delivery (AZ-Nano V3-Board CH340 Chip Finished improved version with USB cable).
I got 5 of them, none can connect via USB (I also use UNO boards with no issue at all).
Always get error
"avrdude: ser_open(): can't set com-state for "\.\COM3"
Failed chip erase: uploading error: exit status 1"
I read all issues on the web, I update CH340 driver, I'm using IDE 2.2.1
yes, I select "old bootload" but makes no difference as there is no connection hardware anyway.
The Windows periph manager says "all working good" but not!
On the Board, one red led is on, and one red is blinking.
I did reset the Nano board (using one click or 2 fast clicks on the reset buton on Nano board).
I asked AZ-delivery, they asked to update CH340, I did, with version 2011, 2014, 2019 and last 2023, none of CH340/341 version works.
I tried on 2 different computers and 5 USB ports, with different cables and rebooting the computers. Nothing works.
In my case, step 20 (in the link you shared) cannot be performed because the button "Roll Back Driver" is inactive.
Actually, in my case, the properties says "Ce périphérique fonctionne correctement" (the board is working correctly) while it's not at all!
really none of the fixes I can find is working.
ok, in fact it works, just a bit differently in step 19 actually, $I did manually instead of automatic, maybe because I tried so many drivers, I have now a mess.
It's weird because the com LED on the board is still blinking red showing a connection issue.
But when i launch IDE and upload it works anyway.
weird technology, but ok nevermind.
