Can anybody tell me if the Arduino Nano sold by Arduino.cc comes with headers, and if it does, are they soldered? I'd like to buy one with the headers, but unsoldered. Thanks!

Pretty sure they're soldered on - the Arduino boards are meant to be usable with just jumpers.
You can get clones (normally CH340G-based ones, so different drivers, but same functionality) on ebay with the headers not soldered on. They're also around 1/10th the price of the official boards (donate some $ to Arduino if you go the clone route to support arduino development, since they don't get any cut of the sales of clone board)
Appreciate the reply. I only need one or two Nanos and they need to be exact copies of the genuine article since I'm replacing a Nano board in an existing project. From what I've seen in youtube vids the "clones" sometimes have slightly different pin locations, sometimes come without bootloaders, etc. I put clones in quotes because a true clone would be identical to the genuine article. I only need one or two boards, so I'm not concerned with the price difference, but I want to change the current configuration to one where the Nano board plugs into a socket so it's easier to replace next time. I need to order headers and needed to know which different kinds would be needed.
Thanks again!
