# Nano RP2040 upload sketch only when forcing the bootloader

Hi.  
After months using nano RP2040, Arduino IDE fails to upload any sketch to my board.  
The only way is to manually force the bootloader with a jumper between GND and RESET pins, and then drag the blink.ino.elf.uf2 into RP2040's mass storage device.  
But then, if I try to upload a blank sketch get this:

"C:\Users\Pai\AppData\Local\Arduino15\packages\arduino\tools\rp2040tools\1.0.6/rp2040load" -v -D "C:\Users\Pai\AppData\Local\Temp\arduino\sketches\40C31AD8A06EA47F642B5DEC9CD85937/sketch\_may21a.ino.elf"  
rp2040load 1.0.6 - compiled with go1.16.2  
.....................  
Failed uploading: uploading error: exit status 1

Arduino IDE version: 2.1.0.

Any idea?

I did that several times.  
But after a Factory Reset the only way a I have to upload a sketch is a Hard Reset to show the mass storage device . After that the IDE is able to upload it successfully.

But next time I try to upload the sketch I have to do the same procedure again.  
The IDE can not upload neither double tapping the reset button resolves the problem.
