NarDuino: cellphone controlled car.

hi fellows,
lately i have been working on a project to control an rc car with a cellphone via bluetooth.
i named it NarDuino Because it uses Nokia devices on both remote controller and car side.

Im using an N810 webtablet to get commands via bluetooth from n95 8gb cellphone.
And received commands on n810 being sent to arduino via serialport.

Maybe the car would be lighter without n810 on it.But those bluetooth modules are quite expensive to me.So as i already had n810, i choosed to it.
Also having a linux operating system on the car brings lots of more possibilities such as speech synth. , speech recognition , camera , wifi bla bla bla etc. which are also a good reasons to use n810 on the car.

for more info. photos, codes etc. see project homepage:

by the way special thanks to members GrumpyMike and StevenH for the help

That's quite cool.

Flipping the idea around - i.e. instead of a car w/ cellphone, it's a cellphone w/ wheels - gets me strangely interested.

by the way it's not a cellphone i mean n810 aint got cellphone feature
it's a webtablet with linux.

im put it onto car to get commands from my cellphone.
my cellphone is not in the photo because it's the device that im taking photos with.

Still cool.

But now you can have my revised idea for free.

yeah
by the way weight of n810 causing a lot of power consume  i guess that's why my batteries finishing so fast

yuppi now i got video-stream from the car

This is very cool. How did you control the arduino? USB cable? I don't know you can run a linux system on a cellphone type of device. Looks pretty cool.

Suggestion: the linux cellphone plays a random autobot catch phrase when you push a button on your cell.

thank you so much for comment  it is so rare here i guess as there are 293 views and only 3 comments by two members
thanks you so much again  you two

actually i added transformers' transforming sound which plays when the connection has established between cellphone and n810.

yea n810 runs linux os.
by the it is NOT A CELLPHONE this is not kinda advertisement word i mean it , it aint got calling messaging gsm etc.

it is a webtablet it has wifi , gps etc.
it even runs KDE, DEBIAN etc.

Ok, have another reply =P

But what is there to say, its a 'phone'.. with wheels.
No, better.. it is an RC 'phone'!
Now we want to see it doing loop-de-loops and such ;D

It is cool that you're using the built-in cam, kudos on that =)
