native usb (midi) compatible boards?

hi all - first post here - just getting into arduino and started with a cheapo nano. my first real project is to use it to convert midi into 8 channels of output signals to a relay board.

instead of building my own midi shield im thinking to upgrade to a board which has native usb capabilities (i could send midi over USB?).

i couldnt find any documentation on which of the current boards have that - any tips? thanks in advance

The Arduino boards that support MIDI through USB are the Leonardo and the Micro.

thanks, mike - i picked up a leonardo, thinking it was one of the newer ones. looks like i did ok
