Navigation between tabs in IDE under Ubuntu

Hi,

How do I navigate between tabs in the environment when running the IDE under Ubuntu? CTL/ALT/Right and CTL/ALT/Left are used by Gnome to change screens and the drop down list of tabs extends below that bottom of screen but does not scroll.

Thanks for any help, apologies if this is the wrong section but Environement and IDE don't seem to appear anywhere

How many tabs do you have? If there are so many that they can't all be displayed at once, you need to rethink what you are doing. Libraries, perhaps.

Two existing sketches from the RepRap community (3D printers) called Marlin and Repetier Firmware. Both have more tabs than the environment fits across the screen.

Use the gnome control panel to change the shortcuts so as to free up the ones you need?

Thanks, I will do that - I seldom use the alternate panels in Ubuntu anyway.
