Neatly finished project box + LCD

Hi there!
I have to prepare a project for a company. It is not a prototype or a test, it is final for use in a large company

So far all the devices that I have built were 100% waterproof boxes with nothing outside, other than cables, so the finish is as good as box you buy

But in this project it is required to use an LCD screen (2x20 or 2x40, it's not critical). My problem with these projects has always been the finish. Whenever I have trimmed the gap of the plastic layer to fit a screen, the finish is quite bad. The cut, no matter how well you do it, is not perfectly straight, and there is a gap through which water, dirt, etc. would get though.

I'm looking for boxes on the internet that come with a well-coupled LCD as standard, but I can't find anything. Another option would be to install a frame or bezel but I don't see anything

I hope someone has experience solving this problem before and can give some idea on how to approach it.

Thank you very much in advance

I have built some stuff that I want to survive a few raindrops. I use plastics boxes having a transparent upper half. The display I mount under the transparent top. Only the 2, or 4 holes, for the screws holding the LCD are penetrating the box. They are easy to glue watertight.

Ok it's better than nothing but the remaining part of the upper half lets you see all the boarda and wiring inside and tbh I don't like how that would look, I prefer something prebuilt together, or a nice a sealed bezel I can apply on top

Thanks!

Mount the display as I told and the add add mask, black paper cut out to size or black electric tape... You get the idea?
Yes, my stuff shows the birdnest of wires below but it's okey in my application.

Yes, I understand, thanks, but in my case and for this client, a finish like that with cut paper or tape wouldn't end up looking nice enough. I need some sort of premade finish.
Someone pointed at this:

Not a bad idea...

Thanks
