neato xv-11 lidar

Hi

I am attempting to use an Arduino mega to interpret the serial data streamed from the neato xv-11 lidar.
I have tried many different setups (software and hardware) non have produced a clean result.

The closest working stage I have got the sensor to is with the information from: Steven's Robotics Blog: Arduino mega XV-11 LDS motor dirver test

Can anyone help with setting this sensor up with arduino?

I am trying to do the same.

What is your problem exactly?
