Need a little help, please

Hi
Can anyone please help me, i am very new to programming ad arduino. Why will this example program not run:

I get an error message on this sentence:
tone(8, melody[thisNote],noteDuration);

error says:
'tone' was not declared in this scope
'noTone' was not declared in this scope

I just copy pasted everything over, so i can't understand why it is not working
I made pitches.h file for all the notes of course.

I'll be forever greatful if anyone will respondto this and please help me out a bit

How many tabs do you see on the Arduino IDE? You should see two: one called "Tone" (or whatever you have called it), and another called "pitches.h".

If you don't see you, than you need to create it.
To create another Tab click on the little Arrow on the right side of your window (just under the Serial Monitor Icon).
A menu will appear. Choose "New Tab" and give it the name "pitches.h".
Then on this new tab past the following code:

Save you sketch (even though you have two tabs -the Tone and the pitches.h - it will save it all in one file), upload it to your arduino and it should now be working!
