Need help converting photo to LCD

Hi,

I am trying to convert some photo (taken by camera) to display on an LCD panel which is a 128x64.

Tried to use the glcdMakeBitmap, but the results are no good.

Are there any tricks there? I tried resized the original photo, equalized, and converted into grayscale etc in Photoshop. All the result at best I can get is still not recognizable on the LCD.

Is the LCD panel only capable of 0 or 1? I mean no gray scale? Mine is QY-12864F.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

It depends on the photo. You might have to process it a bit before the results are usable. Without the picture, it’s hard to tell what will help.

I googled that ID in the forum. There is this thread:

From the picture in that thread, it appears to be a standard LCD display, which does not support gray scale. A pixel is either on or off.
