Can anyone help me identify this connector? I tried to find it on the Digikey and Mouser sites but was totally overwhelmed by the vast number of choices.

If Mouser has it, it will be under:
Interconnect -> Rectangular Connects -> Headers & Wire Housings
Filter by Number of Rows = 1, Number of Positions / Contacts = 6 (that's what I counted), and by the Pitch of the pins (can't tell that by a picture.)
That should narrow things down to a manageable list.
It's made either by JST or Hirose... If I remember right.

I was just starting to get comfortable choosing electronic components but I didn't realise what an insane variety of connectors exist!
