Hey guys I finally have my code working, and yes J M L you were completely right about that i completely overlooked it and I realized it after my board did nothing and the serial monitor kept displaying the pin number instead of a 1. I have fixed the problem and uploaded my code to github if anyone should need it. Code should work with most Arduino compatible boards.
