Am trying to charge one of these with solar instead of the wall adapter charger im using currently,
this is a battery pack for an arduino controlled rc car and the main motor is powered through this.
I've seen a lot of tutorials for lipo and lion batteries solar charging circuits but apparently its different for nimh.
Moreover, im not sure what solar panel i should be looking for, should i be searching for a specific voltage, wattage or current rating? and size is also constrained to not more than about ~15x15cm since i want to fit it on top of my car's roof.
Regarding charging speed I'd prefer something within a few hours while its not being used, but from what I've seen about other charging circuits for nimh they take quite a while about 24 hours sometimes.
Am a beginner to this subject and electronics in general so help would be appreciated.
