Need help on sending an alert to my smartphone using ESP8266

Basically I've been working on a school project that senses a rapid change in temperature that triggers an alarm and also sends an alert to my phone but I can't seem to be able to get the data transfer from Arduino to phone aspect right. I've tried following a handful of guides but it just doesn't seem to click. Thus, I've gone to this forum in hopes of being able to get this done. To understand the concept better, I will just attach my initial codes that doesn't involve wifi settings and I hope you will be able to help me fix it while making me understand it thouroughly.For reference, I'm using the Myduino IOT Training Kit. I hope you will be patient with me as I'm am quite new to Arduino. Below are my codes. Also try using Telegram or Pushbullet as I already have them both installed on my phone

#include<LiquidCrystal.h>
LiquidCrystal lcd(12, 11, 5, 4, 3, 2);
int Dout = analogRead(A0);
float vin = (Dout*0.00488);
float temp = vin*100;
int red = 8;
int green = 9;
int blue = 10;
int buzzer = 7;
const int cold = 30;
const int fire = 60;

void setup() {
  Serial.begin(9600);
  lcd.begin(16,2);
  delay(500);
  pinMode(red, OUTPUT);
  pinMode(green, OUTPUT);
  pinMode(blue, OUTPUT);

}

void loop()
//LCD CODES
{
  int sensorValue = analogRead(A0);
  float temp = sensorValue*0.107422;
  Serial.print(temp);
  lcd.setCursor(0,0);
  lcd.print("Temperature=");
  lcd.print(temp);
  delay(1000);

  //RGB LIGHTING
  if(temp<cold)
  {
  digitalWrite(blue,HIGH);
  digitalWrite(green,LOW);
  digitalWrite(red,LOW);
  lcd.setCursor(0,1);
    lcd.print("COLD");
    noTone(buzzer);
  }
  else if(temp>fire)
  {
    digitalWrite(blue,LOW);
    digitalWrite(green,LOW);
    digitalWrite(red,HIGH);
    lcd.setCursor(0,1);
    lcd.print("FIRE");
    tone(buzzer,999);
  }
  else
  {
    digitalWrite(blue,LOW);
    digitalWrite(green,HIGH);
    digitalWrite(red,LOW);
    lcd.setCursor(0,1);
    lcd.print("NORM");
    noTone(buzzer);
  }
