NEED HELP to DETECT a LAND MINE

hey gyzzz....
can you guys help with my new project,

i wanna detect a land mine, without using expensive GPR, X ray smth like that,
i can use a metal detector, and i need more sensor data to verify that was a exactly a land mine, i am empty...
do you guys have any idea what can i do in this situation...
any sensors, any methods...
thank you for helping.....
:blue_heart:

Wow, isn't this very very very dangerous?

A 'cheap' metal detector ?

heh hee... indeed... its for a project, if its built we are gonna test it in safe environments with professionals... :innocent:

yeah, we are using a metal detector, but it also can detect nails and such and such, after metal detector detect there is a metallic object, we need to verify further using "some method/ sensor" to make sure that was a mine...
that's where I am stuck :innocent:

So real world mine detectors are 'expensive' why do you think that might be ?

yeah, i understand that...

Hopefully this is not for use with real mines .
You need to decide what characteristic of the pretend mine you are use for your confirmation , then find the sensor to do that .
Smell ?
The BANG ?

What about plastic mines???

With nails inside?

Probably safer just to assume it is a mine and avoid it.

The only foolproof method is Mk1 Eyeball.

Sure. Research how "real" mine detectors work and come up with a simpler version using the same concepts. Asking here won't be particularly useful unless a mine expert happens to see your post.

Serious mine detection is done with trained rats. They can detect even the plastic mines.

I wonder how many other places we're going to see the same post...
