Need help with a program

Hello arduino pals! So I have a arduino mega 2560 and a plate with many pieces (buttons, leds, matrix, contacts etc.), the one that interests me is this one: Screenshot by Lightshot

Now what I want this piece to do is when I press a button to count from 0 to 9 on the units if a contact is open and on the dozens if the contact is closed. I started a program so you can get a idea what I want to do: Screenshot by Lightshot
