Need help with a temperature measuring project (noob)

Hello guys, i need your help. New to arduino and this forum. I want to measure water temperature before and after my boiler. Can i attach some kind of sensor on the pipes and use arduino to show the 2 tempertatures on an lcd dispay? Which type of sensors? actually i need only the temp after the boiler but knowing the before/after would be cool.
english is not my first language, correct any mistake. Thank you!

DS18B20 get ones that have a 1 meter (or longer) cable. super easy to use.

Hi,

You can get the DS18B20 in an armoured covering to provide some IP rating protection

The DS18B20 is good for +/- 0.5C up to 85C and to lesser accuracy to 125C. You can have a swag of DS18B20s shared on one pin. It is OK to use the type pictured above held against the pipe. I use a short length of foam pipe insulation. The sensor sits in a dab of heat sink paste but plain silicon goo should suffice.

Thank you guys, that seems the best solution. I'll update you guys next week.

check your maximum process twemperature
and the max rating for the sensor,
it is not possible to get water over 212F in the open air, but under pressure, it get get much higher.
