Hey guys as said above i need help... So just got my microcontroller, arduino UNO, 3 weeks ago adn am still a noob, read on! I should also mention with being a noob i don't know much electronics as i am 10 and a half years old, no joke! So don't get technical with me...
Ok here i go, wait, wait i should tell you: this is my first post.
Ok HERE we go: So i saw online a cool CNC plotter machine and i saw i had the items required except the driver, which i got. Me being the dumb person i am, i opened the hard drives and took out the stepper motors and other motors and then threw everything in the bin except the metal poles. So, now the stepper motor operates but i can't use it to move the axis. >:( >:( >:( Please provide me with a solution, i have been looking for a wee bit o' time!

Guys! GUyyyyyyyys!! please don't disregard this topic, please, pleeeeaaasssseee. Like i said i am 10 years old but i know a lot of electronic things... believe me! So just give me any answer. Paul? Not being mean but the no technical thing obviously wasn't meant to be literal as if i didn't know anything about electrnic than i wouldn't know what a microcontroller was and wouldn't have ever thought of making an cnc plotter. Heck! I wouldn't even have been able to post this article because you have to see that i am typing which to a computer expert's eyes counts as being technical.

Hard drives do not have stepper motors. Are you talking about hard drives or DVD drives?
