Need Help With Error When Uploading

I am new to Arduino and am trying to learn how to code. I completed the code for the second project in the ‘Arduino Projects Book’, but whenever I try to verify the code or upload it to my Arduino, I get an error that looks like this.

Arduino: 1.8.10 (Windows 10), Board: “Arduino/Genuino Uno”

ArduinoGuide_Project02:2:1: error: expected ‘,’ or ‘;’ before ‘void’

,void setup() {

^~~~

ArduinoGuide_Project02:2:1: error: expected unqualified-id before ‘,’ token

,void setup() {

^

ArduinoGuide_Project02:2:2: error: expected unqualified-id before ‘void’

,void setup() {

^~~~

ArduinoGuide_Project02:9:1: error: expected unqualified-id before ‘,’ token

,void loop() {

^

ArduinoGuide_Project02:9:2: error: expected unqualified-id before ‘void’

,void loop() {

^~~~

exit status 1
expected ‘,’ or ‘;’ before ‘void’

I am not sure what to do. I have tried copying all of the code(attached) into a new file and every combination of ‘;’ and ‘,’ in front of “void setup” and “void loop”. If someone could give me some direction or something to try that might help me fix the problem, that would be appreciated. Also, if you could explain to me what is happening with the code, I would be thankful.

ArduinoGuide_Project02.ino (791 Bytes)

int switchState = 0
,void setup() {

add a ; behind the first line and remove all characters before void

int switchState = 0;
void setup() {

You have a few more ; 's missing at the end of lines

After I went back and checked for semicolons at the end of lines, everything worked. Thank you for your help.
