Need Help with Nokia 5110 LCD

Hello, I’m a newbie with Arduino…

I am trying to figure out how the get the Nokia 5110 LCD to work but I’m having a bit of a problem with a error message I cant seem to get fixed. Can anyone please let me know what I am doing wrong or how I can get this fixed…

Thank you!!

Here it is the error: Arduino: 1.6.5 Hourly Build 2015/05/29 06:35 (Windows 8.1), Board: “Arduino Uno”

#include <SPI.h>

This report would have more information with

enabled in File > Preferences.

Which part of that error message is hard to understand ?

The compiler can't find SPH.h

SPI is one of the fundamental libraries, you can't do a lot of things using Arduino unless you have it. You must have screwed up the folders/directories of your arduino installation, somehow.

The first thing to do, is check that you actually have SPI.h there.

The second thing to do, is to try to compile one of the example programs which uses SPI.

The third thing to try, might be to add #include <SPI.h> to your source file, where the compiler might be able to find it, before it gets to the adafruit library you are trying to use there.

Why not using a different library?

Try LCD5110_Basic.h and LCD5110_Graphic.h
