I had a programmer working on this who abandon the project and configuring the watchdog code to wake up the system is beyond my programming abilities. We need to be able to select a certain time to wake the system up and do a battery check (it will already check the battery voltage once it wakes up). Initially every few minutes for testing, then up to 24 hours for every day use. Ideally we would want it to wake up from sleep if either the clock battery or the AA batteries get too low. However, we would be fine with it waking up at a designated time.
This uses a custom built Arduino board with the addition of a clock and motor controller chip.
I’ve attached the code below because there were too many characters.
If you have any questions about anything, just let me know. Thanks!!
