Need recommendation for Wifi Module...

Have been doing some research looking for a small wifi module with or without a whip antenna for an arduino project. Was looking at something like the Multitech Serial-to-WiFi Modules (forum won't let me post a link) but it's too expensive and looks a bit dated. Also the Arduini wifi shields are way too big.. looking for something really compact but easy to play with.

Anybody have any recommendations?

Have you considered using Xbee modules, they are basically plug and play wireless devices for arduino.
