Is it like the range of current drawn between free run to stall? So I will get only a torque in the ratio of the 1A / Stall current?
- If the motor is connected to the power supply and you physically prevented it from turn ing, the current drawn is the stall current.
Stall current = PowerSupplyVoltage / motor resistance
Any important stuff to consider when choosing a DC motor for this project and generally?
- Just make sure the weight being moved is less than what the motor can move.
