In Chapter 6.0 the construction of the motorcycle can make you cuss. A lot.
One of the major things I think that could help is to please place the following photos for troubleshooting your code in section 6.3 by your desk or on your desktop when constructing the motorcycle and putting the wires into the Motor Shield ports.
The video alone never really does a great job of showing you which cables from the servo and the hall effect go into which port, but the troubleshooting photos are brilliant to show clearly the intended wiring diagrams.
Just a helpful tip from a frustrated engineer
