New and have questions on 4 channel motor shield/uno configuration

Hello

I am 100% new to arduino and I purchased an audrino Uno and a 4 channel motor shield a couple days ago and have been searching for information/schematics on how to wire in a 6 channel r/c receiver to both of these components and have found nothing on the motor shield only the uno but with both boards stacked I dont understand how i can connect to the lower board. Can anyone point me in a direction to get this problem solved?

As a general advice, post whatever links you have about your components. Try to find the related data sheets and Arduino libraries and examples.

For your next project get the data sheets and Arduino libraries before buying something.
