New Arduino boards announced (not shipping yet)

2 BLE (nRF52840), 1 WiFi/BT (SAMD21+ESP32), 1 ATMega4809 (no radio).

the "iot" is same as MKR 1010?

nRF52 would be a new chip for arduino.cc (.org made Primo)

Nano Every with 4809 is super cheap and simple to copy by other manufacturers. will it make 4809 common?

I hope the BLE devices will bring with them documentation that explains how to use the full range of BLE facilities.

I have the impression there are lost of interesting things that can be done with BLE but my Googling has never managed to find a "How To"

...R

The IoT board seems to be a stripped down MKR 1010. No battery charger chip, no 4 pin connector, and headers optional.

Adafruit and SparkFun are selling Arduino compatible nRF52840 boards. Adafruit did the board support package and included lots of examples. I do not know if Arduino intends to create their own board package or use Adafruit's.

Another difference from the MKR 1010 is that these boards use the form factor of the Arduino Nano instead of MKR.
