I have questions about using the Web IDE but before I ask them it seems that I should follow the " How to use THIS section of the FORUM" provide by Ballscrewbob.
I cannot complete the ... Before you start please ask yourself if you followed the The getting started completely.
SELECT THE PLUGIN OPTION !. The getting started link takes me to a "Setup a Linux device" page that does not seem applicable.
Also, note that ArduinoCreateAgent-1.2.7-linux-x64.run (27.3 MB) does not execute in my chrome OS.
So... having failed the "before you start" I would like to ask my question and hope that it is OK to do so.
My computer is a HP chromebox.
running Version 107.0.5304.92 (Official Build) (64-bit)
The USB port on the front of the chromebox is the only connection to the Arduino
Arduino types:
Arduino Uno-R3 Not clone
Arduino Nano - CLONE
Arduino Nano Every, also new and not clone
I have been able to get the Uno-R3 and the Nano-Clone to work although I have experience intermittent difficulty getting the IDE establish communication via the I2C. "object,Object" is intermittently encountered and the ability to select the correct board and port is not always possible using the drop down list as the correct selection is not always available after changing boards.
A combination of disconnects, double resets and reloads of the IDE are needed at time to enable proper communication
Having tried the above process I have never been able to establish communication with the Nano-Every.
Any assistance correcting the intermittent problem and/or getting the Nano-Every to communicate would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You,
NewB John
