New editor has a verification problem

Thanks! Please do this:

  1. Click the following link to open Arduino Cloud Editor in your web browser:
    https://create.arduino.cc/editor

  2. Since you are currently using the "old" editor, you should see a notification at the bottom right of the page:

New Cloud Editor is out, try it now!

Click the "try it now!" link in that notification.
The "new" Cloud Editor will open.

  3. Click the icon at the top left corner of the page.
    A navigation menu will open.

  4. Select "Sketches" from the menu.
    The "Sketches" page will open.

  5. Click on the problematic sketch.
The sketch will open in Arduino Cloud Editor.

  6. If it is not already, select the appropriate board and port.

  7. Click the icon at the bottom left corner of the page ("Settings").
    The "Settings" panel will open.

  8. Select the radio button next to Console verbosity > Verbose output.

  9. Click the upload button () on the Cloud Editor toolbar.

  10. Wait for the upload to fail.

  11. If the black "Console" panel at the bottom of the Arduino Cloud Editor page is minimized, click the ˄ icon at the right side of the Console toolbar to expand it.

  12. Click the icon in the top right corner of the Console panel that looks like two pieces of paper ("Copy Console Output").

  13. Open a forum reply here by clicking the "Reply" button.

  14. Click the <CODE/> icon on the post composer toolbar.
This will add the forum's code block markup (```) to your reply to make sure the error messages are correctly formatted.

  15. Press the Ctrl+V keyboard shortcut (Command+V for macOS users).
This will paste the error output from the upload into the code block.

  16. Move the cursor outside of the code block markup before you add any additional text to your reply.

  17. Click the "Reply" button to post the output.
