I opened up my Arduino IDE to upload the same code I have been for 2 years and the port is not working. It constantly shows that Port 3 Is open even if my board (ESP 32) is not connected or is connected. Then, when I go to upload the code, it says a critical error that Port 3 cannot be opened. What has changed?
Something else on your system is using port 3?
It means that this port has nothing to do with your ESP32
You left a serial monitor running?

Sadly, so far you have told us very little about what you have.
