Hey guys after extensive research I ordered arduino atmega328. I'm new to all this. What I'm wanting to do is basically build a robot, and build a motor controller incorporated with lasers for a light show. I got the Arduino Duemilanove 2009 AVR ATmega328P-PU USB board.

hehe thanks. I also am learning to be a pilot! I have an experimental aircraft and from seeing what the arduino is capable of...dang can save lots of money :). I'd like to incorporate an lcd display on my panel :). Bearing, fuel, etc... cause the cost of one of these with the probes is like 700 bucks!
