NEW No Serial Ports

I have no serial ports to choose under Tools>Ports

I have downloaded the latest arduino software build and the Sparkfun files.
I have an Arduino Pro Micro
iMac with OSX 10.11.2 El Capitan

My menu choices are:
Board: Sparkfun Pro Micro
Processor: ATmega32U4

The last time I used Arduino was with Uno R3 and it worked fine. Before El Capitan possibly. Now, even if I choose the Uno (Tools>Board>Arduino/Genuino Uno) I still have no Serial ports. The words are greyed out

Any ideas?

I have seen many posts complaining about OSX El Capitan, and no one reporting back with success.
