New Product: Boarduino and RBBB protoshields

I've just released two new prototyping boards for the RBBB and Boarduino: Wicked Device Shop

I have always liked these boards as a concept, but have been frustrated that you can't easily use them for semi-permanent prototyping, and you can't use them with regular Arduino shields. Both these problems are now solved. They use long pin headers, so you can mount shields on the top and/or the bottom of the proto-shield.

They also have their own page here: shield.wickeddevice.com

Similar products for the Nano and others are coming soon. (All open source of course).

Please let me know if you have any feedback or ideas on how to make this better. I'll post some pictures in a followup post.

Cute idea thanks.

Great job!

These are on my ToBuy list.

You would be the guy if you added the Teensy(++) as well.

@Orbitalair: We are rolling this out for all major boards, including the Nano and Ardweeny.

I was just looking at your photo again, and I notice something.

Your RBBB does not look like my RBBB, and if they really are different, my RBBB would not fit this board, as the pin lines are narrower.
Mine is RevB, the pin lines are 0.600 wide.

Have you checked this using the latest RBBB version from ModernDevice???

@OrbitalAir: You are correct. The image above shows the BoArduino version. This would not fit an RBBB. The size and pinouts are different, and require different boards. We have a versions for both the BoArduino and RBBB.

RBBB protoshield is here, including a large image: Wicked Device Shop

BTW, we have also just released a Nano version of this board: Wicked Device Shop
