New product using NFC visa and master card UID as ID. Proximity problem Arduino

Hi I'm a Product Designer + Architect working on a new product as above.

The shield is a pn523 with a standard antenne. The information gathered is the UID from ISO14443A/B compliant RFID and NFC tags.
13.56MHz

I have been advised that this is GDPR compliant. I work from an incubation space provided by a local bank and they have advised that this data has been made open source for third party product development.

The assembly code is working with a standard card and MasterCard but Visa Pay-Wave is a struggle .

Have tried different power combinations as my uneducated guess is that the current needs to be higher. One arrangement with separate 1.5 a 5 v to the shield produced high sensitivity with the standard and master card and the pay-wave was working briefly.
This was unstable with the code crashing. My guess the amperage needs to be constant across operational and power supply circuits.?

Any suggestions to get this working ?

Sincerely and thank you in advance.
