I was looking to build a puppet that replicates head movement in 3 axis. The idea is to wear an arduino nano with GY271 magnetometer that senses your head movement in 3 axis, then send this movement via HC-05 bluetooth to the puppet head which moves the same using arduino+HC-05 bluetooth receiver+3 servos. as shown below. Question is I do not want to reinvent the wheel, did anyone come across a similar concept, not necessarily the same. so that I can use it as a baseline for my project.if yes please give me a link. thanks

Think you will be better of with an IMU that measures acceleration and gyro.
A magnetometer can be affected by surrounding magnetic fields, not just the earths mag field.
