'New' sketch button enhancement

Would it be possible to somehow include the New button in a Windows taskbar?

My sequence to get a posted sketch into the IDE: Select, copy, bring an open sketch into focus, click on ‘New’, paste code.

It’d be nicer if it were: Select, copy, click ‘New’ icon in taskbar and, viola!

Or, maybe I’m doing it the hard way and just don’t know it.

If you have an empty program opened in the IDE can't you just put the code into it with SELECT CTRL-C CTRL-V

Admittedly you have to move the mouse from the browser to the IDE between the CTRL-C and CTRL-V

There isn't normally an empty program open. When the IDE opens it loads up the last sketch, or several, from the previous session.

I just thought of an even better option: Have a special button which opens a new sketch and automagically copies the clipboard contents into it. I admit it's probably just a fantasy.

Thanks. I'll look at those options.
