New to arduino, advice appreciated.

So I am working on a school project for ME and have limited electrical experience. I am trying to figure out how to power both my arduino and my motor from the same supply.

motor

driver

Any help is appreciated. Like I said, I am very inexperienced with electrical systems and am trying to learn as quickly as possible for this project so additional references or suggestions are very welcome.

Powering your Arduino and your motor from the same supply will take some fancy power management that is not a beginner project. You will need a 12 volt, 10 amp power supply for the motor and run the Arduino from a USB wall wart. Connect the grounds together. Protect the connections from the Arduino to the motor driver.

Hi,
You did get the User's Manual for the driver, right??
