Hello All,
I am doing some research to make an electric mountainboard and I want to control it via Bluetooth or 2.4ghz. I was planning ot just havk the board out of an R/C transmitter and then run a standard R/C receiver to control it, but while doing some research I stumbled upon the Arduino and projects controlled with a Wii or PS3 remote so I am researching this option. I work with some very adept Electrical guys here, but I am more mechanical. I cna get help if needed, but I would liek to get an idea of where to start if I decide to head int he direction of control via arduino and BT. Can anyone point me to some examples of this being done with possible information on hardware? In the research I have found it seems most make a BT link between the Wii and a Laptop and then the laptop makes a connection to the wireless robot. I would like a connection direct from wii to Arduino. I intend to have tha Arduino controll a wireless speed controller and possible one other Large R/C servo for brakes or some sort of actuator.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also I am open to other ways of doing this if Arduino is not the best choice..
This looks liek a fun project to learn and I have other applications where the arduino would work well.
Best regards,
Marc
