New toy: Spy Gear Video TRAKR

A new toy being marketed this season, that has "Link Me To An Arduino" written all over it! the Wild Planet "Spy Gear Video TRAKR" http://www.spygear.net/spy-gear/item.php?key=64 , is an ARM9 based remote control mobile camera with a microphone, Speaker, IR LED (for night vision with the built in camera)

It has a built-in LCD screen on the remote, to immediately monitor the video camera. Everything is linked back via a 2.4Mhz radio. (not WiFi, but some other form.) The thing is, being based on the ARM9, both the remote & the TRAKR are programmable! The website has a rudimentary C Compiler (which requires beind run under either Linux, or some other shell based under Windows, I imagine porting it to a Mac is no hassle.) But, the device is still in it's base stage.. Begging to be opened (Okay, I know, Warantee void, but as Mr. Jalopy says, "If you can't open it, You don't own it!".

The folks at Hack-A-Day, have already figured how to connect a SPI based light array to it, (Spy Video TRAKR: Software And First Hack | Hackaday), so I imagine linking to an Arduino should be a cinch! Main objectives, adding some additional servos, a PING)), an accelerometer, all kinds of add-on gadgets.

any ideas where to go? get the two talking to eachother, and adding to this as a mobile base that will report back immediately! I'm already working on the PING)) part.. But, directly to the ARM9. But even the Hack-A-Day folks saw potential for the Arduino.
