got this project from http://blog.wingedvictorydesign.com/2009/06/20/arduino-thereminsynth-final-walkthrough/all/1/ have built it, makes sound, but does not function properly; i think it is a programming issue, & when it comes to sketches - I'm totally lost! I know there are a lot of brainy people out there that could help me; I've posted 3 times & not gotten a response. someone, anyone please look over my schematic & sketch! would be much appreciated, i've got a ton of money in this ting & want it to work!!!!!
Ok - there may be a programming issue. I've looked through the source and haven't a clue what I'm seeing (and I suspect I may not be the only one). People by the hundreds aren't answering your request, so let me suggest re-wording for those of us who have no idea what a theramin synth might be, but have either/both electronics/coding abilities and a desire to help...
it's a musical device that produces 4 octaves of (C), from very low to soprano. it has an utrasonic ping sensor where you move your hand closer or furter to get the different notes(theramin). the push keys fit your fingers, & are for special effects; decay, wah, volume, i forgot the fourth. PLEASE, i need help disparately!1! if anyone can help, would be indebted forever!!
It looks like an interesting project. I took a look at the code last night, ran it through a code "beautifier", and took a shot at making the comments more readable (attached).
I think that you might be best helped by Nick Gammon or someone else with more timer/interrupt-handling experience than I have.
