Newbie - need some help with BT connection status

Hi, I'm using this BT module successfully communicating with my Android application, however when the connection is closed I cant capture this event in my Arduino code, there's a yellow led on the BT module that flashes when there's no connection and it stays ON while the connection is open, is it possible read that state?

for anyone else who encounters this, I've found the answer:

you need to send an AT command to the BT module "AT+NOTI1", that will tell the module to send a string every time there's a change in the connection state:

  • connect state = "OK+CONE"
  • disconnect state = "OK+LSTE"
