I am in the process of building a bike project. I am installing an actuator from a forklift, so this does not go with the automatic gearbox I will use.
Black will always be negative.
Red, White and Green is positve. Depends on where the actuator must stop.
There will only be a up and down button. So 2 or more relays can work together.
I need some diagram and relays that will work on the 12volt system. Will this be possible or di I need to find another way?

Can you provide the name of the actuator you are using as well as what you want the actuator to do in terms of full extending then retracting or going to a certain position and stopping.

The actuator actually comes of a forklift. Its used for the rev of the engine. I want to use it for an automatic gearbox so that I only have 2 buttons, up and down for PARK, REVERSE, NEATRAL and DRIVE.
Picture attached. So the Joystick needs to be replaced with up and down. Would prever if there is a light indicator also for the 4 possitions.
The electronic module dont need specific positions as it has already its own manual adjusters to set it in the correct position.
I use the 722 Series actuator
Did it work properly when on the fork lift? Can we guess it was an electric forklift? Not like my propane engine forklift?

What position does the Arduino play?
What voltage for the actuator? Most electric fork lifts use at least 48 volts.
