Newbie needs help with ESP8266 and Adafruit_ST7789.h (loading bmp/jpeg?)

Hello Friends,
this is my first Thread here I hope I do all right…

So i have and (maybe?) easy question: I have a Nodemcu V3 and a Display 240x240 Pixel.

I have programm a test sourcecode with Adafruit_ST7789.h and Adafruit_GFX.h librarys.

All workes fine I can edit and show my own text in own color etc. on the diplay :)))

So NOW i want to show an image. 240x240 Pixel on it. How does is work easy way?

I just found some source code that loead a .bmp form SD Card. But I want to use the HEX Code of the Image.

So I found a source code that works with the App “lcd image convertor” there i can “translate” the bmp/jpg image to hex code.

But the source code worked with other libary and dont work at all :(((

So my Question is: Is there a way with Adafruit_GFX.h and/or Adafruit_ST7789.h to show an image on the lcd?!

I searched over google but dont found anything :frowning: Is there a documentation with all the commands from Adafruit_ST7789 or Adafruit_GFX???

Thanks a lot for your Help

BMPs are a lot easier to read off an SD card (or from SPIFFS) than a JPEG, which has to be decoded.

OK so how can i show a bmp on display with in source code?!

NOT over SD. I dont habe SD Card. I want to include the bmp infomations (in HEX?) in the sourcecode. How??
