So I'm new to the Arduino world and have a project that I would like to do.
I would like to play a mp3 file of a voice saying words and would like to sync the mp3 file to LEDs so that they blink whenever a word is said. any and all help is welcome.

Which IDE are you using DESKTOP or ONLINE ?
How is the MP3 file getting to the Arduino, as data or as analog audio?
Connect the audio output to an envelope follower like this one.
