Newbie- Switching polarity of voice coil in-tune with motor shaft

Apparently people wish to get all the details of a project- then offer no help answering anything that was asked. .. They Only want to criticize the project and point out the flaws they see, which was not asked.

Later...

Links and/or data for all of them please. Including things not in the list like the motor and voice coil actuator.

Also, it is usually extremely helpful to explain the simple fact, "what does it do"?

Read and follow this link: Arduino Forum

That gives helpers a chance to answer instead of asking questions, helping You to bring order in Your question.

Another thing, you should edit the thread title, it's doesn't tell much about your problem.

I see this in the forum quite often, so you have a lot of company. My suggestion for the best approach is to write test programs to exercise each device alone, by itself, and your Arduino, until you understand how it works, responds and how you can determine all that with a program.
Then you will have enough information to begin to design the end product using the parts, or perhaps rejecting the parts for something else.

I think the speaker shown is going to have a lot of trouble sustaining 5KHz with any ‘throw’ and a mechanical load…

It’ll probably work for prototyping, but you may end up needing a high performance solenoid (voice coil or other), and it may also need water cooling if it’s going to run for any extended duration.

Just for info, what’s the distance of throw, and what power amplifier are you going to use?

The speaker travel won’t be linear, you may end up with some other type of linear actuator. (at speed !!). Usually smaller means less mass == faster.

5,000 RPM would be 5000/60 RPS
