i want to copy this code and give it a shot and it is errored when i go to verify it. this is the place i found the information.

When you encounter an error you'll see a button on the right side of the orange bar "Copy error messages". Click that button. Paste the error in a message here USING CODE TAGS (</> button on the toolbar).
And please post the exact code that you're trying to verify too.
Having to go to Youtube to find links to a web page in a language I don't speak and apparently with the code in little pieces is a bit too much effort for me, sorry.
