newly added sketches/folder don't show up

hello,

I've been trying to add a folder of sketches in "my documents/arduino" but they don't seem to want to show up? I can delete folders from there and they don't up after so I know that works! This is the first time using ver. 1.0, I originally was using 0021 but I get the same results from this version as well.

edit: so I restored the sketch that I deleted and it reappears with the rest of the sketches.

edit: when I go to the "sketch tab" then to "add file" the folder is there and I'm able to load a sketch from it, but the folder doesn't show up when I look for it in "sketchbook".

Sometimes you need to restart the IDE before things show up - I know this is so for libraries.

I tried restarting the IDE, restarting the computer and even deleted and reinstalled it altogether and it still will only show up/load from the "sketch tab" and "add file" location.

OK I had the sketches in sub-folders but did not have individual folders named after the sketch for each one, they were all together in one folder. :astonished:
