Nextion HMI and Arduino

Hello guys! I have a nextion hmi that I use to trigger some relays on connected to my arduino, I use an Arduino Nano, and everything is working between HMI and Arduino, i just have certain kind of delay when i press the button, it takes between 0.5 to 1 second to turn on the relay. I would like to know if i have to modify the code on the Nextion interface or on the arduino idle.
