Hello, I am new to this community. We have built a device that uses NFC to power it and communicate using a cell phone. We would like to go to market with this device, but realize not everyone has a smart phone that can talk NFC, so we would like to develop another device that can be powered and programmed to take the place of the phone and power and communicate with the device. Is there any direction anyone can provide me to help with this?
Are we talking about NFC ( National Finance Center )? I doubt it but post a link to the technical information on the hardware device. You should post on the for hire section.
This sounds like an Interesting project but we are not a free design or code writing service. We will be happy help out with your design and or code but first you have to make an attempt to design it, write it, post it and explain what is not working properly.
If there is hardware it is always best to post links to technical information as there are many versions of the same or different items. Since we cannot see your project, my eyes are to weak, you need to post using the language of electronics, an annotated schematic, (best) or a clear picture of a drawing. Pictures never hurt. Frizzing diagrams are not considered schematics here, they are wiring diagrams, great for assembly lousy for troubleshooting.
This is why people don’t like posting on boards like this. Because if people like you. There are a bunch of NFC posts on these boards and I don’t see your smart ass responses about a National Finance Center on those posts. Lots of people that have asked questions similar to mine and again not your smart ass response.
If you had posted that correctly we would have know what you were talking about. Here is a bit of information for you:
Introducing acronyms
Introduce every acronym before using it in the text. The first time you use the term, put the acronym in parentheses after the full term. Thereafter, you can stick to using the acronym.
Note that when introducing an acronym, the full term should only be capitalized if it is a proper noun (e.g. the name of an organization). or https://www.scribbr.com/academic-writing/abbreviations-and-acronyms/
You should also realize not everybody has the same background as you and the acronyms although the same in different fields indicate something else as in this case.
I suggest you relax, get a coffee or whatever and google "NFC" you will find there are a bunch of definitions for this. Happy searching! You are correct there are other inexpensive ways, Good Luck!
"of"
p-p-p-lease do not troll my posts...
Yeah I saw that after I had posted it but there is no edit button for the post and I thought most people could figure it out. Didn’t think I was going to face grammar police. Does anyone on here help or is this forum just full of trolls? Sounds like I came to the wrong place. Thought this was a community to help, it a community of complainers. Guess I was wrong.
Sorry. Messed up again. Meant to say it’s just a community of complainers. Can’t wait for you to correct me again thinking you did a good deed for the day.
You have an "edit" button below each post... it is the "pencil" icon. (phone and computer)
That would be "spelling" as "grammar" pertains to the structure of an individual language. Not all languages are structurally alike, but some languages allow for missing "letters" and still make complete sense.
... but in the language of programming, spelling DOES count. The following example sketch has one spelling error. With the error, you get nothing but complaints. Correcting the error shows how a minimum sketch works with the Serial Monitor...
void setup() {
Serial.begin(115200); // configure serial communications
}
void loop() {
mr_rlv(); // the function loop() calling another function
}
void mr_rlv() {
char m[] = {"+mrrlvbsfd^kkldobsbK"};
afor (int i = 0; i < strlen(m) + 1; i++) // error on this line
Serial.write(m[strlen(m) - i] + 3);
Serial.println();
}
You can run this by clicking the "copy" icon in the upper right corner of the code box and paste it into your IDE or use a simulator like WOKWI.COM.
I am the sole member of the Trolls Party, elected unanimously as the leader. I am full of it. Historically, Trolls are known as good; caring for bridges and viaducts, as well as the areas directly below them. Without trolls, Rome would have been invaded by other invaders due to lack of sanitation and fresh water for their invading army. Imagine a world without the Romans cleaning up London to Leningrad. Pure filth and the Black Plague... but for Trolls, keeping it real.
Trolls also help by code dumping for homework assignments of the inattentive, not caring to learn, just wanting code, by Friday... such as...
A volume knob for a motor...
How to count on a 7seg...
A color Lego sorter, complete with wiring diagram...
Driving motors without a library...
And my favorite, WS2812...
So... welcome. Pay your tax.
Well, you have definitely run this person away from your forums. I hope you are happy. Good work! I am sure you go home at night now feeling better about yourself.
You didn't follow protocol from the start (insisting people know your jargon rather than giving details, and arguing the pointless). You were never intending to "stay" (use the forum for its resources), but preferred name-calling as your style of communication when asked to read the protocol you just agreed to for obtaining your user account. Hey, even I, Troll, get grumpy, so I fully understand you.
As a parting gift; my most bedazzling anoyatron:
Do not gaslight me. People know what NFC stands for and you know they do. My kids know it. I read many posts in the forums before posting and lots of them used NFC in the post without explaining the acronym. Why don't you go troll those posts and accomplish absolutely nothing on these forums. Or you could be friendly and help others. Your insistence that you are better than everyone else is what caused the problem here and why I don't want to be a part of your forums. To say I never intended in staying is completely wrong on your side. I have been doing embedded development the majority of my career. I have several arduino and Raspberry Pi projects. You don't know anything about me and certainly have rushed to judgement. But have a good troll life. Enjoy being annoying to everyone and keeping people from posting. People like you are the worst.
Even the non-troll part of me does not know NFC, and would need to read elsewhere to understand. If you look at the other posts with NFC, there is probably context.
Another vernacular... referencing an English language movie from last century is a -1.
So many.
Your words and thoughts. Never mine.
Prove me wrong.
You have children, you paid a university for a piece of paper, you watch old movies enough to quote them (because you would never stoop so low as to repeat a cliche).
Wurst ist best. PROSIT!
Do forum members get a cut of the profits, if they show you the way?
