Nick Gammons Hex uploader not seeing Hex files

As the title says when it reads the SD card it shows no files, have tried copying the one from the AppData\Local\arduino\sketches and exporting (Arduino IDE 2.3.6), neither versions show up

Now the sd card is seen so its not the wiring , and i have read the contents of a chip and saved it to the SD card which shows up just fine so the card is formatted correctly and everything involved seems to be working, its just taking the files from arduino ide that seem to be the problem some how.
