NICLA Blink Not Compiling on Mac

Using Arduino IDE 1.x

Just got my Nicla in today. Went to compile and upload the Blink_Nicla sketch and it errors out.

M1 Mac with MacOS 12.1
Arduino IDE 1.8.19 with "Arduino Mbed OS Nicla Boards" 2.6.1 installed.

I get the following error:

fork/exec /Users/user/Library/Arduino15/packages/arduino/tools/arm-none-eabi-gcc/7-2017q4/bin/arm-none-eabi-g++: no such file or directory
Error compiling for board Nicla Sense ME.

The blink sketch and board does work as expected using the web editor and connector, so I do not feel this is an hardware issue.

Any pointers or thoughts?

Update: Uninstalled and reinstalled the board package and it works now.

So this can be closed or marked as solved.
